There are plugins that automate this, they're never going to be perfect but they do the job good enough for you to only have to concentrate on blogging.

Thanks for clarifying this issue for people. There are a lot of people who are strong believers in each side. You don't want to produce horrible content by stuffing keywords for the search engines. You want to find a nice balance of using good keywords where it makes sense.

I think it's a fine balance between gearing towards the search engines, and also towards the readers of the website. The two can merge very well, sometimes it depends on what type of website you have, but the two can merge real well...

Good post. Yes, our main target is visitors so, don't write for search engine but keep in mind and try to write user friendly content.

Your articles should be for users before anything with some SEO in mind.

I think the way to go is to write informative articles that readers will enjoy reading but they can still be search engine optimised without losing the message. Why would you put up content that doesn't rank well - it is kind of like putting a new line of clothing in a store but instead of placing it in the window and advertising it, you keep it in a box and the back of the shop....why bother??

Good point of view that don't write for search engines but think about it. I agree with you write for users not for search engines. Main focus is provide information to users.

While I have to admit, I rarely ever take search engines into account when I start an article, it seems that by the end I have to rewrite it a couple more times hoping that it reads right for SE's and my visitors. I understand it's a fine line, I just wish I could get it right the first time around.

I always like to think it's a fine balance between gearing towards the search engines, and also towards the readers of the website. The two can merge very well, sometimes it depends on what type of website you have, but the two can merge real well. It does come with experience though.

Till then,
