If only I had a good idea

I hear and read this everywhere: “If only I had a good idea, then I could X”. Replace X by “start a business”, “get rich”, “change something”, etc.

The reality is that good ideas are often badly executed and the end result is no better than if it had been a bad idea at first.

So, it’s not about getting good ideas. It’s about executing well.
