Jumping on the Blog Comment Blueprint!

November 19th, 2008

Here it is, the new method from Danny Cooper to get backlinks: offer a review copy of an e-book to get backlinks from a couple of selected bloggers. There you go Danny, you got your backlink and here’s one more for your Blog Comment Blueprint. Now that we’ve done the dirty stuff for that link hungry Danny, let’s get to the content.

Who is Danny?

On a more serious note, Danny runs Linkers Blog which is a blog about tips and tricks to get more backlinks and then get more backlinks again and when you think you have enough links he’ll still be giving tips about how you can get more. That’s just Danny.

At 17 years old he’s quite young and he really knows his stuff about link building. That is considering he’s not outsourcing his content.

Here’s his about page if you guys feel like you have to know more about Danny Boy before going any further.

What’s the Blog Comment Blueprint

The blog comment blueprint is Danny Cooper’s answer to: “How can I make money, increase my readership and cook dinner all at the same time just by dropping comments on blogs?”. This is as simple as that. Danny is explaining in his e-book how simple it can be to increase your RSS subs and even make money just by dropping good comments on blogs. He goes a little further by publishing a picture of his paypal earnings for the impressive amount of 600$ for just over a week:

I was really surprised to be honest, as I never thought of monetizing comments.

Just to give you a better idea of what the Blog Comment Blueprint is, here’s how Danny would describe his experience with comments:

In the past blog commentating was just an item that bloggers but on their ‘promotion tactics’ lists when they were running out of ideas. But I have took it much further than that, in my studies I have pushed blog commentating to the limits, I have turned blog commentating from a second class promotion strategy to a traffic breading, link building, money making machine!

I have to agree that Danny is going a lot further than “drop comment and traffic will come” in his BCP!

So, tell me!

OK, you now know Danny and you know what the BCP is all about so I hear you saying: is the Blog Comment Blueprint worth the $9.99 investment? We’ll answer that, but later. Be patient!

You know that I usually review stuff I want to review and stuff I’m not paid to review. You know, I reviewed Host Gator a while ago and it wasn’t for money at all, just because I liked the service. I actually wanted to review Danny Boy’s e-book, mainly because I was curious to see how he managed to get that 600$ from dropping comments! But good news, I discovered a lot more than just how to make money.

One thing that really caught my attention in the book was how to use Google advanced search options to find blogs to comment on. I knew it was possible to do it, but never really bothered searching to be honest  so I’m glad I learned that.

The truth is that there are some stuff in the book that have been covered before and that you can find on my blog, on Danny’s blog and on other blogs, but I think that’s the case for most e-books anyway. The goal of an e-book is not necessarily to unveil techniques that haven’t been covered before, but to put everything nicely in a couple of pages for you to learn quickly. You know, you don’t always have 10 hours to search what you want so sometime 10$ is a lot easier!

Should I buy it?

It all depends if you want to bring your blog commentating to the next level and maybe make some money while doing it. I think that there are stuff for everyone to learn in the book and it’s really up to you to decide if you need some tips to not just comment, but drive traffic and build your blog’s readership. Just to help you decide if it’s worth for you or not here are the subjects covered in the book:

  • How to Find Blogs to Comment on
  • How to Make Money from Blog Commentating
  • How to Build Links using Blog Comments
  • Blog Commentating for Traffic and RSS Subscribers
  • How to Comment Faster

If you feel like you have a lot to learn on one of the subject above, I think the BCP could be a good investment. Overall, I don’t think anyone would feel like they lost 10$, there’s something for everyone in it.

That’s it

That’s it. In the end, it is your call whether it is worth it or not. You can visit the landing page, read some more information and also comments from satisfied bloggers. As I said, you can probably find some of the information on different blogs, but it’s a 10$ that can save you a lot of precious time by going straight to be point and giving you what you want.

My final call is that it’s a well written e-book and a solid product that everyone can learn from. Good work Danny boy.

Hey, good to see an honest review of the book – my review copy must have got lost :P I think blog commenting has grown over the past few months to allow for monetisation – I guess it’s all about how you do it! Good review :)

@NotaBene: Thanks very much, you know I always do things in a very honest way! :)

@Dan: Yep, you are right, blog commenting is a lot more than just dropping comments now. I’d say it is essential now in order to achieve a certain form of success. Thanks for the comment!

@Yan: Thanks bro, I’m not a fan of pushing stuff so I just talk about things the way they are! Thanks for dropping a comment! :)

@Eric: Cool! You’re not the first one telling me that kind of thing and I think it’s great. Also, that’s a reason why video blogging is awesome ;)

Yep, I thought about a video at the end of the video and it is a great suggestion. I’ll certainly do it for a future review.

  6. Mike Henry says:

There are definately worse ways to spend $10 in this niche. Most likely the book won’t teach you anything you didn’t already know or suspect, but it should give you the confidence to try things.

  12. The just purchased this eBook last night after reading your review of it. I really like the concepts that Danny writes in this book.

There was a lot of information that was included in this book and I managed to get through it all in one night. Of course my take of action isn’t going to be as quick as it takes time to try out each method but so far I really like it.

After reading what Danny has written in this book I totally beleive that it is possible to make a full time income blog commenting!

@Mark Sierra: Man giving you what this “making money by leaving comments” thing is all about would kill the surprise! hehe, it’s a pretty good part of the book I can’t just give that away :)

Riyanne: Yes you can, hehe! I didn’t really know that technique before…

@IronBlogger: Cool, glad you like the review and that it made you purchase the ebook!

Yeah, I read it pretty quickly too, one night is enough and that’s what’s interesting!

Yep, a full income is possible but I think it might get a little boring after 1 month hehe ;)

  14. Hehe, I guess I should have reworded it better. Didn’t mean to ask you to spill the beans. It just sounded puzzling that one could make money from doing that. :)

Well, it is little strange to see that he is stating that MMO is possible by posting comments without owning a site. That’s the intriguing part really. But i really liked his own linkbuilding blog, so i subscribed to it. Thanks for sharing.

Although very intriguing, I personally don’t think monetizing my comments is necessary. I will be checking out more of this, because I am entirely sure on how it works. Obviously I doubt he’s blatantly advertising in comments.

Most intriguing is that he’s 17 years old! That proves that the older people the less they question things and the youngest people have the eureka moments more and find/exploit something that hasn’t been thought too much about.

Great review though, very honest and thorough :)
